Bell Ringing Campaign Nets 7th Crystal Bell

Thanks to the efforts of both bell ringers and those making monetary donations from the BVCC congregation, the 2010 Salvation Army Christmas Bell Ringing Campaign netted a total of $1,302.70 for disaster relief and care for the hungry and homeless, well in excess of last year’s effort.

Jim Johnson, who again coordinated the annual mission project which celebrated its 11th BVCC participation this past Christmas season, thanked those BVCC members who braved the elements and staffed the Salvation Army kettle at Mardel Christian Book Store. But just as important, he continued, were the numbers of BVCC folks who donated to the campaign through dropping checks and money into the BVCC staffed kettle. "Successes like this are representative of a true team effort," said Johnson. "I never cease to be amazed and grateful for the generosity and dedication of the participants at Blue Valley Christian Church. Thanks for all you do!"
