Help with Project Warmth

The purpose of Project Warmth is to make extreme weather months more bearable for thousands of Kansas City area residents. Since Project Warmth was started in 1982 they have collected more than 2,200 tons of coats and blankets and more than $7.25 million for area children, families and the elderly.

All items collected are sorted and distributed through the Salvation Army and given to approximately 75 agencies and shelters in the 8-county metropolitan area.

Coat Drop - Saturday, November 5th, 3:00 - 6:00 PM
100 volunteers are needed to unload 10-12 semi-trucks of donated coats and blankets and separate them into piles of women, men's children's coats, new items and blankets. Dinner and beverages will be provided.

The Project Warmth event on Saturday, November 19th has been cancelled

The exact location for these events will be announced at a later day.  Project Warmth has warehouse space donated to them every year so once we are notified you will be too. Dress warmly as it will be a warehouse environment and no open-toed shoes.

To RSVP simply email Aaron at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
