BVCC Volunteers Staff Salvation Army Kettles

BVCC enters its 11th year in support of the assistance to homeless and hungry families and individuals and the victims of disasters that the Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign provides by staffing kettles at the Mardel Christian Bookstore.

The Mardel Christian Bookstore is located at 119th and 169 Highway (Rosana Square) in Overland Park. Our volunteers will be ringing on two different dates, Saturday, Novem- ber 6th and again on November 20th between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM each day.

Although volunteers have filled the current sign up times for both November 6 and 20, others who desire to help out with the ringing of the SA bells are certainly encouraged to do so by contacting SA Kettle Campaign coordinator Jim Johnson or the church office.

Volunteers can bring children and pets to help with the ringing, and are welcome to bring folding chairs for their comfort. There is no requirement to stand while ringing at the kettle.
